HOME-BASED BUSINESS SHOW IN JAMES BAY

Who says you're boxed in when you've got a home-based business?

Certainly not Susan Pearse, the gal from 24 Carrot Learning, who is behind an upcoming Victoria Job Fair to be held on Saturday, September 19, 2009 from 9:00 am - 4:00 pm at the Hotel Grand Pacific, (463 Belleville Street in James Bay).

It's a great way to explore the many opportunities available to become involved in the direct selling industry, to own your own business and work from home. For others it is an effective means to work flexible hours, to build one's retirement savings fund, or earn some additional income to finance a family vacation.

Event organizers and vendors are volunteering their time, and encourage participants to make a financial contribution to a worthy cause, in this case -- The Single Parent Resource Center in Victoria.

Sometimes a whale of a problem comes when you least expect it.

In this case, the organizer of the newly-formed "James Bay Job Club", had a family emergency that prevented the convening of the first meeting of the club at the Ogden Point Cafe.

Sincere apologies to those who attended, and a commitment to resume the gathering on Monday, September 28 at 8:30 am - Ogden Point Cafe...and a free round of coffee for those in attendance!
